The basic water allotment for patrons of the district is ½ a miners inch (1/2 miners inch = 1 irrigated acre / 5.62 GPM) per assessable acre included within the district. A general rule of thumb for sprinkler irrigation is that one sprinkler can be used for each irrigated acre, subject to nozzle size and pressure. The irrigation season generally runs from late April through mid-September, depending on the available water supply.
